Hum Mart is amongst one the most renowned online marts operating in Karachi, Pakistan. It is a subsidiary of Hum Networks and aims at minimizing the everyday hassle of a common man to go out and shop for every day necessity.

They have thousands of products in the category of biscuits, breakfast, chocolates, dairy, grocery and every other thing that you can relate to anyone’s home. This has enabled Hum Mart to reach out to people who practice a very busy lifestyle to get things delivered to their home without undergoing any trouble from their part.

Hum Mart came to us with an idea that was yet to be realized. With only dream in their mind, we sat down with them to be able to understand what actually their end goal with the product was. They intended to cater to the higher masses of Karachi who do not have much time on their watch for groceries and hence wanted to bring a sophisticated and easy to use platform from where they could get all the groceries in only a few clicks.



In the discovery process, we analyzed the key requirements of the web solution that Hum Mart was seeking and did research, on our part, to be able to understand the Hum Mart’s potential target market in a better way.

This process raised a number of important points and helped us discover important findings which had the potential to influence the target market either directly or indirectly

Our insights revealed the dynamics of the Karachi’s ecommerce industry and some key points that could prove instrumental for the store’s existence in the long run.

From wire framing the initial concept to the final deployment of the website, the development process for Hum Mart was a very lengthy one.

By making use of Magento 2, we were able to create bespoke solution for the company which offered a seamless UI/UX experience for the customer and an easy to use CMS system for the backend people.

Furthermore, we also integrated multiple payment gateway solution as to provide wide range of opportunities for the visitor and customer.



The Ecommerce platform was able to help Hum Mart increase their overall traffic rate. With around 76 per cent increase in the average session rate and with an overall increase of 44% in its revenues, Hum Mart has been able to grow phenomenally in the past year majorly because of the Ecommerce platform that ART provided them with.
